Staff Cost and the Role of Entrepreneurship on Banking Profitability : An Empirical Analysis with Panel Data (1997–2008)

In the present paper an effort will be made to show with panel data that during the period 1997-2008 in European banks as well as in the United States ones staff cost and entrepreneurial caliber have a positive impact on banking profitability. Data source is O.E.C.D. The elaboration of the model is made feasible through the Eviews software package
