State Programs on Development of Agriculture and Rural Regions : What Chances May Bring

Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation prepared their regular changes to the State program on development of agriculture for 2013–20251. These changes raise questions regarding the feasibility of implementation of import substitution tasks and growth of agribusiness products. State program of integrated development of rural regions approved in May of this year will also change significantly2: the draft of federal budget for 2020 and 2021 and 20223 suggests reduction of financing of this program by four plus times, which may also lead to certain issues of its implementation
