Statistische Methoden : Eine Einführung für das Grundstudium in den Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften

Mit diesem Lehrbuch werden die grundlegenden Konzepte der Deskriptiven Statistik, der Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie, der Induktiven Statistik und der Statistischen Entscheidungstheorie vorgestellt. Entwickelt wird so ein Referenzmodell für empirische Arbeit. Jeder Abschnitt eines jeden Kapitels gliedert sich in einen Kerntext, den Aufgabenteil und "Ergänzungen und Bemerkungen". Die dargebotenen Methoden sollen den Leser befähigen, sich auch weitere statistische Teilgebiete in selbständigem Studium zu erarbeiten. Dazu ist eine aktive Auseinandersetzung mit den Aufgaben unumgänglich. Hier finden sich auch zahlreiche Hinweise auf gesamtwirtschaftliche und gesellschaftliche Rahmendaten sowie Datenquellen. Zum Weiterlesen finden sich vielfältige Anregungen in den "Ergänzungen und Bemerkungen", die jeden Abschnitt abschließen. Im Vergleich zur ersten Auflage wurde Teil 1 (Einführung und Grundbegriffe der deskriptiven Statistik) und Teil 2 (Wahrscheinlichkeitsverteilungen) wesentlich erweitert. Die Aufgabenteile und die Teile 3 - 5 wurden völlig überarbeitet
