STRATEGIC ALLIANCES IN INDIA

Indian economy is on a growth trajectory and one after another study is projecting India among leading economies of future. The role and significance of India in the global economy is continuously increasing. Globally, strategic alliances are increasing and so are in India. This paper studies the Strategic Alliances in the top 100 companies in India. More or less all the companies have formed some kind of strategic alliance with other companies depending on their business needs and requirements that are located within India as well as overseas. Growth and expansion, diversification and access to various assets are the three major reasons for strategic alliances in the firms under study.
