Study on Performance of Horizontal Displacement Control System of J-Text Tokamak Under Divertor Configuration
The J-TEXT Tokamak device has the operation ability of the high field side horizontal divertor configuration. Under this divertor configuration, plasma equilibrium is unstable in the horizontal direction. This work studies the performance of the horizontal displacement control system to the instability by simulation and experiment. In the simulation, a model for a displacement control system is established, including plasma displacement dynamic characteristics, power delay characteristics, and other main modules. Then the system responsiveness and control parameter stability domain are analyzed using the root locus method and compared with the experimental results. Finally, a stable control scheme under the divertor configuration is achieved from the guidance of the simulation results in the experiment
