Supplier Evaluation and Rationalization via Data Envelopment Analysis: An Empirical Examination - A new approach to supplier evaluation using data envelopment analysis (DEA) is demonstrated in this article. Using data from an actual organization, the authors demonstrate how the results from the DEA analysis can be combined with managerial judgment to evaluate and categorize suppliers.
