Systems Development for Intelligent Business
Business Intelligence (BI) is a last hour informatics technology which focuses on the organization, functioning and managing an industry with the help of calculating techniques. The development of the industry on the market environment, but also on the digital context, has served as solid experience for accumulating necessary knowledge in the BI field. This knowledge has been adopted and developed, in the last years, through the information resource. It is also known, that the information acquired through education and experience is knowledge. At this day in age the success of a business depends greatly on the quality and quantity of information on which it bases itself. A system for Business Intelligence (SBI) offers a technology, including software products which supply the users with the necessary information for dealing with problems that surface in the business activity. In order to develop a system for Business Intelligence (SBI), we have analyzed a few methodologies. On the basis of a comparative evaluation of these methodologies, as well as on the basis of the authors' experience in realizing informatics systems, we have proposed a set of activities which can be undertaken in order to realize a SBI. This set of activities may serve as a useful guide for those who study or develop a SBI
