Tai Chi, Qigong and Cosmology : A Chat with Chatgpt

A recent article by Bobby Azarian discussed the state of current thinking on cosmology and the possibility that the universe might be a giant neural network that continues to expand without end. Similarities were drawn between neuroscience and cosmology, which seemingly overlap in some important ways. While reading through the article, the present author noticed some similarities between the concepts discussed in the article and the underlying theoretical foundation of the Chinese philosophical concept of yin and yang balance, which permeates both tai chi (taiji) and qigong. The author presented a series of questions to ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, out of curiosity to see what kind of responses might be forthcoming. This manuscript is the result of that exploration. The present study is part of a larger study that examines the capabilities of ChatGPT. References to more than 30 other ChatGPT studies are included in the reference section, along with links, which makes it easier for scholars to conduct their own studies of this AI tool
