Teachers Roles in Promoting Child Rights Practices among Children Studying in Rural Schools
All Human beings must know their safety rights. Because nowadays there are may unexpected deterioration like natural calamities, diseases, anti social activities, social clashes, religious atrocities, communal clashes, Road accident happen very frequently in any social environment. All these problems bring out unsafe to human beings. It is every body's task to maintain some social safety measures, to live comfortably in the society. Safety means the state of being safe. Safe measures protected from dangers and harm term safety is always difficult to describe completely. What may be safe for one person may not be safe for another, it is because different person have different perceptions about what is safe. "A safety education program is needed to prevent accident and to form children right habit of safety children must be made conscious of accident situation". (Otto, Henry, 1937) The curricular activities in safety education should provide in three kinds of closely related elements.i)Safety Instruction, ii)Safety service and iii) Safe school living.Teachers teach through instruction safety to the student and help them to develop habits of safe living and self direction. The pupils needs for instruction and guidance on how to live free form hazards accident and injury. Junior safety rights council and school safety rights patrols activities directing student to involve in traffic student activities inside the school on the school ground at street crossing and on the school buses. i) Demonstration , ii) Radio programs and iii) Publications. The school publications may be utilized to provide an impetus to school safety activities, disseminating safety news to the pupil, the parent and the community
