The Data-Sitters Club #7 : The DSC and Mean Copyright Law

The Data Sitters Club is many things, it is partly an exercise in cultural analytics using digital humanities methodology applied to the cultural touchstone of the Baby-Sitters Club books and graphic novels. However, the broader agenda of the DSC it is teach various issues and techniques relating to text data mining by hands-on demonstration and collaborative discussion. The DSC books are narrated in the style of the original Baby-Sitters Club books, something that can take a bit of getting used to. "DSC #7: The DSC and Mean Copyright Law" focuses on a series of copyright issues that arose in the context of the broader DSC project.
