The Effect of Performance, Transparency, Leadership, and Organizational Ethical Climate Green Capital in Pakistan

The study examines the effects of different performance and organizational factors on green capital. Performance factors included Economic, Environmental, and social performance, organizational factors included Relational Transparency, Human Resource Practice, and Organizational Ethical Climate. Lastly, we also included Social Responsible Leadership as a regressor. The outcome variable of green capital included three dimensions i.e. Human, structural, and relational. Empirical validity was established by conducting a survey using a close-ended questionnaire containing 61 questions. Data was collected from 500 respondents belonging to different firms in Pakistan and analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and structured equation modeling. The result suggested that Economic performance and Organizational Ethical Climate, seem to exert a significant positive impact on both Green Human Capital. Similarly, Relational Transparency seems to have a positive impact on Green structural Capital, and Green Relational Capital. The findings suggested that green intellectual capital as an intangible resource is crucial for organizations in achieving sustainable performance and competitive advantage.
