The Environmental Legal Trilogy- From Stockholm to Rio to Paris : Some Global Responses to the Problem of Climate Change Towards Achieving SDGs

The world is at a catastrophic end. Echoes from the past of the eminent destruction of the earth haunts humanity. Western press-room advocacy has become violent roadblocks with global participation. Demonstrative actions against the slow pace of the human community at reversing the global effect of the destruction of the environment have reached an epoch. Such is the story of the international impact of the catastrophic environmental destruction, climate change, and the global race to keep global average temperatures to well below 2 0C above pre-industrial levels; and to pursue efforts to completely limit its increase to 1.5 0C. Global journeys have been walked From Stockholm to Rio to Paris without much success. The discipline of science has been an important prove to the devastating nature of the global environment.This paper will focus on legal efforts at holding governments, state actors, corporations, Civil Society Organizations and individuals accountable for their environmental actions
