The whole intellectual edifice has in effect collapsed after 2008's world-economy crisis. Anyhow, this is yet not the first time that the intellectual edifice of economics collapses. The first was the collapse of classical economics the late decades of the 19th century. With the appearance of neoclassical economics, historical experience showed that the collapse of the intellectual edifice of economics of a time is not the demise of economics but the break of the development of economics. As the collapse last time was that the discipline of economics broke with classical economics, the collapse of the intellectual edifice this time has to be that it breaks with neoclassical economics. If it is really the case, then the real issue which comes to light for the profession of economists nowadays is that “what does the next intellectual edifice of economics look like?” This question motivates the inquiry. As a proposal propounded to the profession, this book tells of my ideas of an alternative intellectual edifice
