The human factor in developing Africa

This book aims to provide sub-Saharan African countries with alternative explanations for, and solutions to, their problems of economic underdevelopment. It discusses why economic development policies and programs have failed in sub-Saharan African countries and provides relevant answers to their economic underdevelopment malaise. The basic premise of this book is that the human factor (HF) is the main integrating core in the economic development of nations, the engine of growth and progress. As such, conventional economic development theories must integrate the human factor if they are to be applicable to sub-Saharan Africa countries. (DÜI-Hff)
