The Impact of International Trade on National Development and Globalisation
No nation can stand on its own without depending on the other. Every nation is blessed with specific natural resources. Nigeria is blessed with crude oil, among other resources of the earth. Some other countries like Spain do not have crude oil; however, they are advanced in technology. These technologies are used to refine crude oil into finished products, oil, and gas. Nigeria exports crude oil to other nations and imports refined petroleum. Hence, the importance of international trade law. This article will give a cursory look at international trade, laws governing it, the arguments in favour and against it, and its impacts on the Nigerian economy
