The Interactive International Trade (Iit) Program : An Online Teaching and Learning Initiative
The Interactive International Trade (IIT) program is an innovative approach to teaching and learning that is designed to enable students through self-paced online activities to construct and consolidate their understanding of complex economic models associated with international trade. This paper reports the learning experiences of students using the program and identifies design improvements. A comprehensive and diverse investigative process was adopted with feedback obtained through student surveys and interviews, an independent reviewers report and the lecturers perceptions of how this resource was and should be used by students. The relationship between the IIT program and other learning resources is discussed with a view to gaining a clearer understanding of how this online program can be used to enhance learning
