The Practice of Digitalization of Public Administration in China

In 2016, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council of the People's Republic of China published a joint document Strategy for the Development of Informatization of China. The document had set 2 main targets: by 2020, the total volume of information consumption was to reach 6 trillion yuan, and e–commerce - 38 trillion yuan, and by 2025 these figures should increase to 12 and 67 trillion yuan. By the middle of the 21st century. China should play the role of a leader in global information development. The document established three main tracks (strengthening development opportunities, promotion various applications and optimization of the development environment), for which it was envisaged to achieve 56 goals grouped into 14 directions
