The Role and Importance of the Law of Social Policies in the Context of European Social Law

The approach of the different legally social policy determined shaping a new subbranch of social rights, namely social policies law as a multidisciplinary law. The historical roots of the social policies law should be sought in the French social model that has advanced the idea that public safety is a sacred duty. The content of this law has become complex thanks to social affirmation relentlessly of the European law and the change of the legal bases of social policy individualized (unemployment treatment, addiction policy) and the jurisprudence that has developed in social policies. Subject of matter of social policy is to reduce social inequalities through the development and application of legal norms capable to meet the requirements of social solidarity and social cohesion, while the subject to social law is the particular rules governing employment, provision of labour, remuneration, social security, collective bargaining
