The Role of Labour Markets and Human Capital in the Unstable Environment

This thematic monograph is a collection of selected scientific papers on the topics relevant to human resources and labor markets development in the second decade of the 21st century. It was partly developed as a result of the dissemination process of the results achieved in the project led by the Institute of Economic Sciences entitled 'Macroeconomic analysis and empirical evaluation of active labor market policies in Serbia,' which is implemented under the Regional Research Promotion Programme in the Western Balkans (RRPP Western Balkans) of the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. The book also provides some empirical findings from Serbia which need to serve as a basis for the comparison with other countries in the region, and wider with all EU countries
