THE STATE OF EDUCATION AND OF THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM IN ROMANIA (English version)
This article presents the main findings of a research project carried out in 2007, with respect to the essential challenges currently facing the Romanian education system. To this end, the article analyzes the views of the investigated subjects with respect to the assessment of pre-university students based on their high school graduation average marks, in their acceptance to university. At the same time, a part of the article is dedicated to the teaching staff. The article presents the main flaws of the current assessment methodology, among which the subjective character of awarding the marks
