'The Trend of Growth in the Gambia'

This paper study the trend of the growth in the Gambia from 1980 to 2010. We found out that the life expectancy and the fertility rate are insignificant and associated with negative coefficient. Even though we drop or add the variables the life expectancy and the fertility still insignificant. This of course means that the life expectancy has no relationship with the growth in the Gambia due to lower life expectancy and lower fertility rate in The Gambia. Also we found out that the variables like openness and the trade of GDP is highly significant and positive. This means that there are statistically relationships between the CGDP and openness and trade of CGDP. Therefore, we reject the null hypothesis. Though there appeared a surprising result the investment (CI) is not significant but positive coefficient meaning if we increase investment by 1 for example CGDP changes slightly and positive
