THE UNIVERSAL LAW OF GRAVITATION AND THE DEATH OF DISTANCE

This paper addresses the validity of Newton’s universal gravitation law in the emerging digital world. It is argued that the Newtonian gravity principle may also have a validity in cyberspace, but that Tobler’s ‘First Law of Geography’ offers a more appropriate approach.
