Transregionalism Amid COVID-19 : Will the Trend Survive?

The beginning of the 21st century witnessed the rapid development of transregionalization. However, the sudden surge of the COVID-19 pandemic had a serious impact on its stimulating factors. That begot much criticism about future development of transregional projects. The paper discussed the case of Belt and Road Initiative as one of the biggest projects and substantiates that COVID-19 neither puts an end to the trend nor hinders globalization
