United States - China WTO Litigation (2001-2010) : Active & Aggressive Litigants

This is an assessment of China and U.S. litigation against each other in the WTO from 2001 through 2010. It discloses the active and aggressive nature of litigation between these two countries. It indicates an almost flawless continuation of Bush era policies by the Obama administration. If anything the Obama administration has been more active and aggressive. The study further identifies and discusses implications for U.S.-China bilateral trade relations as well as those for the WTO and the global trading system generally. This study presents a detailed chart of U.S.-China litigation in the dispute resolution system from 2001-2010. Is this litigation good or bad for global trade?
