Venture Capital Tokenized Investment

Venture capital (VC) tokenization is one of many ‘tokenization’ opportunities being pursued in decentralized finance. VC tokenization will increase liquidity, simplify participation through asset tokens, and enhance user engagement through utility, reward, and governance tokens. The contribution of this paper is to introduce ‘tokenization’ and discuss its impact on venture capital and private equity investing. To comprehensively analyse the VC tokenization domain, the design of a platform is exhaustively discussed in terms of its backend, frontend and token modelling aspects. It is hoped that this work would serve as a template for future developments in this domain
