Wachstum und Produktivität im Gegenwind: Eine Analyse der Argumente Robert Gordons im Spiegel der deutschen Produktivitätsschwäche
Robert Gordons Hypothese der schwächelnden Innovationen und der Gegenwinde ist ein interessanter Erklärungsansatz für das Phänomen der niedrigen Produktivitäts- und Wirtschaftswachstumsraten in den entwickelten Volkswirtschaften. Die Verlangsamung des Wirtschaftswachstums und der Produktivität sind ein globales Phänomen. Eine Analyse der Argumente Robert Gordons im Spiegel der deutschen Produktivitätsschwäche zeigt, dass die Einkommens- und Chancenungleichheit, mangelnde soziale Mobilität, die Demografie sowie die ausgeprägte anhaltende Schwäche der öffentlichen Investitionen Gegenwinde für das Wirtschafts- und Produktivitätswachstum sind. Das deutsche Bildungs- und Ausbildungssystem dürfte dagegen ein positiver Faktor sein. Es wird gezeigt, dass die Wirtschaftspolitik diesen Gegenwinden aktiv entgegensteuern kann, indem sie die richtigen Impulse und Weichenstellungen für einen zukünftigen Wachstumspfad setzt.
