Was ist eigentlich Grundlagenforschung in der Wirtschaftsinformatik?

Die Wirtschaftsinformatik hat sich als eigenständige Subdisziplin „zwischen“ Wirtschaftswissenschaften und Informatik zumindest im deutschen Sprachraum etabliert. Dies wird dadurch deutlich, dass einerseits die Wirtschaftsinformatik-Kommission zu den größten Kommissionen des Verbands der Hochschullehrer für Betriebswirtschaft zählt und dass andererseits die Wirtschaftsinformatik-Fachgruppe die größte Fachgruppe der Gesellschaft für Informatik bildet.
