Weltkonjunktur: Abwärtstrend setzt sich fort : Besserung erwartet ; Ergebnisse des 73. Konjunkturtests International (KTI) vom Juli 2001

Nach den Umfrageergebnissen des 73. Konjunkturtests International (KTI) setzt sich der seit dem Frühjahr 2000 rückläufige Trend des Weltwirtschaftsklimas fort, der Gesamtindikator hat seit seinem Höhepunkt im April 2000 rund ein Viertel seines Wertes verloren. Die Erwartungskomponente des Indikators zeigt aber bereits wieder leicht nach oben, der rückläufige Trend resultiert ausschließlich aus der Verschlechterung der aktuellen Wirtschaftslage. Die positiven Erwartungen der KTI-Teilnehmer für die nächsten sechs Monate sprechen dafür, dass der Indikator den unteren Wendepunkt noch im Laufe des zweiten Halbjahres 2001 erreichen wird. Aus den Prognosen der Experten ergibt sich im Durchschnitt der 79 in die Befragung einbezogenen Länder für 2001 ein Anstieg der Verbraucherpreise von 3,8%.
