What a Political Philosopher Has to Say About Climate Change

The abundant philosophical literature on climate change mainly explains how (according to an ethic of justice) we can redress climate injustice between generations, between rich and poor, etc.; but says little on why we should do so, or what motivations we may have for worrying about climate change. Understanding the motivations, however, is crucial to the political endeavour to design strategies and identify actors that can bring about a higher level of global governance to face this challenge.
