Wirtschaftliche Entwicklung in Sachsen und seinen Regionen bis zum Jahr 2020

Ziel der vorliegenden Untersuchung war es, die wirtschaftlichen Entwicklungsperspektiven der einzelnen Regionen Sachsens bis zum Jahr 2020 abzuschätzen. Ausgangspunkt dabei ist eine Projektionsrechnung für Sachsen insgesamt, die unter Status-quo-Bedingungen nur noch einen Zuwachs der Wertschöpfung um etwa 1,5% pro Jahr ergibt. Es zeigt sich aber eine starke Differenzierung innerhalb Sachsens: Wachstumsstarke Regionen wie Leipzig oder Dresden können dabei überdurchschnittlich hohe Zuwachsraten erzielen. Eher ländlich geprägte und peripher gelegene Landkreise hingegen werden in den kommenden Jahren nur geringe Zuwächse in der Wirtschaftskraft erleben. Eine ähnliche Entwicklung wird für die Entwicklung der Arbeitnehmereinkommen als wichtigste Einkommenskomponente der privaten Haushalte prognostiziert.
