Work Hours and the Quality of Life in Japan
The quality of life in Japan is generally thought to be inferior to that in other advanced countries. This must be because the economic and social system, which gives priority to Japan's production efficiency, has not stressed the human aspect of workers, who have supported the system, and because the workers themselves have not had the time to look back on their own lives.
