Zum Rückgang der Renditen von Staatsanleihen ausgewählter Länder des Euroraums
Während die Staatsanleihen der Länder, die im Fokus der Schuldenkrise standen, in den Jahren 2010 bis 2012 im Vergleich zum Vorkrisenniveau zum Teil deutlich höhere Renditen aufwiesen, sind diese infolge der Ankündigung des OMT-Programms durch die EZB spürbar gesunken. Die fallende Tendenz der Renditen hält - mit Ausnahme von griechischen Staatsanleihen - seither an. Für die Entwicklung der Renditen irischer, italienischer, portugiesischer und spanischer Staatsanleihen mit 10-jähriger Restlaufzeit in den vergangenen zwei Jahren wird an dieser Stelle eine Zerlegung in drei Komponenten unternommen. Dabei werden Bundesanleihen als Benchmark im europäischen Anleihemarkt unterstellt. Entsprechend sind die Renditen dieser Anleihen die erste Komponente. Die zweite sind die Differenzen im Ausfallrisiko. Um diese zu quantifizieren, werden die Differenzen von Prämien für Kreditausfallversicherungen herangezogen. Die dritte Komponente berechnet sich als Residuum aus der Rendite und den ersten beiden Komponenten. Sie dürfte Aspekte wie Liquiditätsprämien enthalten. Auf dem Höhepunkt der Schuldenkrise wurden diese Differenzen teilweise auch als latentes Wechselkursrisiko für den Fall des Auseinanderbrechens des Euro interpretiert.
