Zur Marktmikrostruktur von DTB und LIFFE. Eine Verweildaueranalyse von Transaktionsdaten
Diese Arbeit widmet sich der Untersuchung der Marktmikrostrukturen der London International Financial Futures and OptionsExchange (LIFFE) und der Deutschen Terminbörse (DTB) auf Basis einer Verweildaueranalyse von Transaktionsdaten.Insbesondere ist dabei von Interesse, durch welche ökonomischen Bestimmungsfaktoren die Zeit zwischen einzelnenAbschlüssen beeinflußt wird und ob dabei institutionelle Unterschiede beider Börsen eine Rolle spielen.Von einem sequentiellen Händlermarktmodell werden Implikationen über die Zusammenhänge zwischen Verweildauern,Geld-Brief-Spannen und Transaktionsvolumina abgeleitet.Eine Gegenüberstellung des traditionellen Parketthandels der LIFFE mit dem elektronischen Handel der DTB zeigt diewichtigsten institutionellen Unterschiede zwischen beiden Börsenmärkten auf.Im Rahmen der ökonometrischen Modellierung der Zeit zwischen Transaktionen werden Verweildauermodelle betrachtet, inderen Mittelpunkt parametrische bzw. semiparametrische Spezifikationen der Hazardate stehen. Eine wichtige Rolle spielt dabeiein Ordered-Logit-Ansatz von han und Hausman (1990), der auf einer proportionalen Hazardmodellierung basiert.Mit Hilfe dieses Verfahrens werden zeitgestempelte Transaktionsdaten der LIFFE und der DTB analysiert. Dabei wird dieempirische Evidenz der abgeleiteten ökonomischen Implikationen überprüft und analysiert, inwieweit die institutionellenRahmenbedingungen bei der Börsen eine Einfluß auf die Zusammenhänge zwischen den ökonomischen Einflußgrößen haben.
