Analysis of Human Resource Management Practices on Employee Motivation
Higher education institution is the centre of knowledge creation. The success of an institution in realizing its objectives heavily depends on the performance of its employees. Performance is considered to be related with the concepts of ability, opportunity and motivation. The objective of this research; employee motivation and performance seeks to look at how best employees can be motivated in order to achieve high performance within a institution. This takes us to the problem question of this research “why money is not a sufficient motivation for high performance?” Therefore this establishes the fact that money is for high performance but there is need to look at other aspects of motivation which is not necessarily money. This research equally looked at the various reward systems which could be used by a company. In addition to the above, a comparative study has been made on monetary and non monetary benefits which influence on employees behavior within an organization. This research has been conducted to study the impact of HRM practices on employee motivation among the employees of the educational institution in the different departments of the Mangalore University. We selected the sample of non teaching staff. The data will be collected from some of the respondents through questionnaire. The study will shows the employee motivation practices for successful institution
