Exploring Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis – A Survey

Whenever we have to take a decision, we wish to know other’s opinions. It is valid for organizations too. In this competitive era, it is highly essential that organizations need to give at most importance to consumer’s opinions and have to be very much careful in taking their valuable inputs in order to upgrade the quality of their products and services. In this regard, the field of Sentiment analysis or opinion mining seems to be the most promising research area. A lot of new research avenues are open with respect to the various subproblems of sentiment analysis that are yet to be solved by our researchers. This might contribute to a fully automated system for performing Sentiment analysis of social media text. Most of the current research works started focusing on Aspect-based Sentiment Analysis which finds out the aspects or features of an entity and computes the sentiment orientation for each aspect.
