Legislative Regulations of Manufacturer’s Warranties in Nigeria

Incidents of contracts and the obligations thereof often necessitate “survival of the fittest’ implications on consumers and vendors alike. In this regard, terms and conditions of contracts, especially for sales of goods, as provided under the law to stipulate behaviors and protect parties, are exploited to avoid obligations under the law . This is a qualitative legal research that considers the Nigerian Laws, especially the Sales of Goods Act 1893 on Contractual Warranties in Nigeria. This papers describes the types of warranties, how they affect consumer manufacturers interactions and how this contractual terms may be enforced in courts according the Sales of Goods Act 1893
