Low-Velocity Impact Localization of Cfrp Laminates Combined with Correlation Distance Method and Weighted Centroid Algorithm

Aiming at the problem of the low-velocity impact monitoring and localization of composite structures in the aerospace field, a real-time monitoring system based on fiber Bragg grating sensor network is designed, and a joint impact localization algorithm based on the correlation distance and the weighted centroid is proposed, which is suitable for medium to low frequency demodulation environment and sparse sample. The high-density fiber grating sensor network was pasted on the CFRP laminate to collect the impact signal. The correlation distance was used to evaluate the similarity between the reference signal and the test signal to realize the impact sub-region identification and the weighted centroid algorithm based on signal energy was combined to achieve precise localization. Ten test sample points were selected for verification experiments. The results show that the regional prediction accuracy of the algorithm can reach 98%, and the average absolute error of precise localization is 18.72 mm
