Regionale Mobilität am Arbeitsmarkt: Wohin nach der Berufsausbildung? Die Ost/West-Mobilität von jungen Fachkräften
In dem Kurzbericht wird das Mobilitätsverhalten von jungen Fachkräften an der "zweiten Schwelle" auf der Basis von Sozialversicherungsdaten der Jahre 1992-1997 analysiert und beschrieben. Es wird festgestellt, dass 1997 rund 7 % der Absolventen einer dualen Ausbildung auf die angespannte Arbeitsmarktlage in Ostdeutschland mit einer Beschäftigungsaufnahme im Westen reagierten. 1992 hatte die Quote noch bei 10 % gelegen. Frauen sind mobiler als Männer. Bei der Differenzierung nach Berufsfeldern und Bundesländern zeigen sich ebenfalls erhebliche Unterschiede. So finden in Sachsen 94 % der dort Ausgebildeten auch Beschäftigung, in Brandenburg dagegen nur 88 %. Der Wechsel von Ausbildungsabsolventen von Ost nach West unterstützt die These, dass den neuen Bundesländern ein Verlust an Humankapital droht; denn die gegenläufige Bewegung von West nach Ost beträgt nur 1 %.
