RFID Deployment : Fast Fashion Retailing

Retailers, in short shelf life products such as fast fashion, can achieve superior performance through implementation of radio frequency identification (RFID). Some of the key benefits of RFID adoption are reduced stock out, reduced labor cost, decreased inventory cost, enhanced visibility, and increased customer satisfaction. This paper aims to examine how fast fashion retailers can adopt RFID to achieve overall business excellence in general and from the marketing perspective in particular. The paper evaluates role of RFID deployment in enhancing marketing value added and provides an evaluation framework for calculating ROI for RFID initiatives by fashion retailers
