Information has always been a major ingredient in education. The rapidly expanding network to access, electronic libraries and databases provides the basis for a potential learning revolution. New media gives students access to vast amounts of information and will move the locus of power from the teacher to the learner. The information age of today needs a new model for education like distance learning; hence the potential exists for a learning revolution. Teaching should focus on helping students know what questions to ask, where to find the information and how to structure the information once they have found it. Distance Education focuses on technology and instructional systems design seeking to deliver on-line education to students. By the development of knowledge shared in cyberspace possibility to emerge of collective intelligence in a wide variety of forms of consensus decision-making in humans and computer networks. With respect to research methodology (types, procedures and approaches) in relation to the objectives consists of a descriptive study. In relation to the procedures we used literature search, and on the approach to the problem, it is a qualitative study. This research was based on Albert (2000), Armbruster (2008), Bok (2003), Durkheim (1933), Freire (1972), Friedman (1983), Gamson (1984), Giddens (2003), Giroux (2001), Goldenberg (2001), Haeussler (2009), Hall (1996), Levy (1999), Meltzer (2007), Melucci (2001), Nicolescu (2008), Ong (1988), Reilly and Rahtz (1992), Resnick (2000), Ritzer (2000), Rockenback & Almagno (2000), Teichler (1998), Travis (1995), White (1987) among others. We can conclude that it is impossible to dialogue about technology and education, including education, without addressing the issue of learning and process. In the classroom, blended and distance to implement joint strategies, processes, practices and environments E2R, true education network, leading to continuing processes, connected, whether the student inside or outside school, either during or after his travel time, which can provide contextualized learning, unlearning and relearning, socialization and community building
