The Development of Soviet Foreign Trade
The development of Soviet foreign trade in recent years was closely connected with the powerful upsurge of the economy, with the rise in the production and consumption of goods, with the further technical progress attained in all branches of our country's national economy. It is also the result of the Soviet Union's policy aimed at the comprehensive consolidation of the world system of socialism, the development of friendly cooperation with the countries which have thrown off the colonial yoke, and the expansion of mutually advantageous trade relations with all countries.
