Volks- und Raiffeisenbanken als Stabilitätsfaktor in Wirtschaftskrisen − Eine polit- und institutionenökonomische Perspektive
Zusammenfassung Die Genossenschaftsbanken haben sich als besonders krisenresistent und stabilitätsfördernd herausgestellt. Stabilitätsfördernde Elemente sind insbesondere ein einfaches und transparentes Geschäftsmodell, ausreichende Eigenkapitalausstattung, Sicherungseinrichtungen, Regionalprinzip und eingeschränkte Fungibilität der Anteile. Gute Produktivitätskennziffern zeigen, dass Kritik aus dem angelsächsischen Raum bezüglich einer mangelnden Effizienz ungerechtfertigt scheint und das deutsche Modell international als Vorbild dienen kann.
