An Application of Dash Board : A Case of Superstore Sales

Business analytics refers to the skills, technologies, practices for continuous and iterative performance of any business. This will not only help to gain insight but also help to plan the activities to drive a business. Based on understanding the business process, the analytics is focuses on developing new insights to understand the business better based on data available and use of statistical methods. In contrast, Business Intelligence traditionally focuses on using a consistent set of metrics to both measure past performance and guide business planning, which is also based on data and statistical methods. BI includes a diversity of implements, process, methodologies and application that permits the organizations to gather data from internal and external sources. This prepared data is used for analysis, develop queries and create reports. The dashboards and data visualizations to make the analytical results available to corporate decision makers as well as operational workers.
