Open communication – a contemporary imperative
The following article aims to define the open communiactions construct through a synthetic analysis of literature. First, differentiating features of corporate communications systems have been outlined, followed by a typology based on the competing values model. Among the four depicted types of communication, open communication characteristics, functions and opportunities have been discussed Finally, application aspects have been covered; the limitations and challenges of open communication along with the necessary conditions of adapting this model.
